I am trying to link the Measurement back to the original Work order via SQL, I did read somewhere about joining based on the pointnum field but ours is blank for all measurements and work orders.
Any ideas2020-01-30 at 12:51 PM #5228dbrawnerParticipant
Do you have measurepoints setup? Are you referring to condition monitoring measurements? To be recorded on a work order the pointnum would have to be specified in order to apply the measurement to the correct asset and metername…
Are you saying you have readings in the measurement object where pointnum is null?
Or are you asking about continuous meters like runtime, or cycle counts?2020-01-30 at 10:57 PM #5231DVaucherParticipant
Thanks for the reply:
Do you have measurepoints setup? How would I know if its setup?
Are you referring to condition monitoring measurements? Yes
To be recorded on a work order the pointnum would have to be specified in order to apply the measurement to the correct asset and metername…They are recorded currently against a Asset or Location
Are you saying you have readings in the measurement object where pointnum is null? All 323,3018 measurements have a NULL pointnum field
Or are you asking about continuous meters like runtime, or cycle counts? No</p>2020-01-31 at 4:10 PM #5234dbrawnerParticipant
Under Assets,navigate to Condition Monitoring.
In the list view, select “all records” from available queries ( or just click the clear filters and the refresh circle icon).
This will be the list of established monitoring points (measurepoints).
Open a work order that <span style=”display: inline !important; float: none; background-color: #ffffff; color: #333333; font-family: Georgia,’Times New Roman’,’Bitstream Charter’,Times, serif; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; word-spacing: 0px;”>was </span>presumably used to record a measurement. In the plans tab, in task details in the “Work Reference Information” section you should see Measurement Point, Measurement Value, and Measurement Date fields with data.
If no data is present, you need to find out where the measurement values were captured.
Try these sql queries…
select * from measurepoint; — should tell you if you have measurepoints set-up for your assets
select wonum, pointnum, measurementvalue, measuredate, from woactivity where pointnum is not null; — should tell you if measurements have been recorded on workorders related to measurepoints (pointnum)
select * from measurement; — these records should have a pointnum though it is not a required field.
If they return no results, or not the ones you expect, then I’d say your system is setup wrong for capturing condition monitoring measurements.
The meter readings may have been recorded , just not as condition monitor readings.
pointnum(s) associate the reading to a specific meter on a specific asset…
Are you importing measurements by any chance?
