I'm having a problem with an Item Master workflow that is trying to change
the status of the item to PENDOBS. I'm using a standard action record to
change the status.
It works flawlessly in my Dev environment, but when tested in the Test
environment, the status does not change. There's no error or anything - it
just won't do it. We troubleshooted for a solid hour and couldn't find the
problem, since we couldn't find any errors in the log either.
My question to the group: if you were troubleshooting this, what loggers
would you be looking at? I'm increasing the log levels on the ITEM
application log, and the WORKFLOW log, of course, and I believe I increased
the SQL log levels as well. But since I'm coming up with nothing, I could
use an outside look at this.

Throw your logging lines here.
I think, because workflow runs in its own Java process, you might need to look at the other logs on your server. I guess you already put breadcrumb actions in your workflow to bracket the spot that's not working.
Hey, can you get that action to fire using an escalation? Maybe it's a problem with the action itself on your other environment.
And did you diff your DEV and TEST environments?
