Custom Lookups

From: Incomm Solutions Inc. (2012-11-08 11:51)

Hi guys: someone take pity on me and help me refresh my memory. I've set
up a Custom App with Inventory Bin #s, because the user wants to be able to
validate Bin #s against an approved list.

So the new application has inventory Bin #s in it. I also then created a
lookup for the new Bins (essentially copied an existing lookup and changed
it), and then did added the lookup reference to the Inventory screen as
usual. However, when the user picks a bin off the list, it's giving the key
value rather than the actual bin, i.e. INVBINSID rather than BINNUM. If I
remember correctly (I'm rusty), I need a MAXLOOKUPMAP entry and a re-start -
correct?

I am rusty too, but you may need just a restart, normally if it needs an entry in the maxlookupmap you'll get an error message stating such.
