Hi guys: anyone familiar with Transportation?
I had a bunch of PMs (25), for the same asset, that generated work orders
all at once. The problem is that they weren't actually due. The generation
seems to have been triggered by a meter reading entry by a foreman. The
interesting thing is that earlier that evening, the regular cron task ran
and did NOT create work orders for those PMs, because they weren't due.
Ideas?

Check the PM Frequency / Work Order Generation Information. There are ck boxes for this.
Yeah, I check that and took the second checkmark off on all of the PMs. The automatic job is run daily, so they really don't need to have work orders triggered the moment the meter readings are entered.
The problem is: I still don't know why so many (25) PM records triggered at once. Only one of them was actually due.

Check the PM Frequency / Work Order Generation Information. There are ck boxes for this.
Are the PMs associated with a hierarchy or a Master PM? A PM can be flagged to trigger the hierarchy and I believe there is a similar function on a Master PM.
