Does anyone have a solution for manual meter entries that allows the user to
enter multiple meters at a time, without having to pull up each asset record
in between, i.e. some sort of tabular format?
We generally use a push from the PLCs for fixed plant assets, but for the
mobiles this, of course, isn't available. The optimal solution would be a
hand-held device, but there's no budget right now for going to Maximo
Mobile.

There is a little less expensive option that might work. MyMaxBrowser (currently an iPad app) is promising. Requires wireless or 3G access, but most plants have that these days.
