maximo 6.1 - PO restrict Report Printing

From: Ali Abdul Nabi Khalaf (2013-05-28 09:31)

All ,
What is the best way to restrict the "run report" in PO application . I tried restricting it from Security Group but it is not working . what we are trying to do is to not let anyone run the PO report when PO is in Wappr but restriction will also be ok .
Regards,
Ali k

Dear Ali,

You may opt to clone PO application and unregister PO print/report from the cloned one.

Kind Regards,

Rodel

I think the easiest thing to do is change the report

I'd agree with Ian. What I've done is instead of suppressing the PO print in WAPPR status, I suppressed the data that gets printed on a PO in WAPPR status. If a PO is WAPPR status I don't allow the report to print the PO number and added a text banner that states 'For pricing only'.
When the PO is in APPR, or latter statuses, the PO number will print and the banner gets suppressed.
