I'm trying to implement functionality to be able to perform a classification search and return multiple assets from the results back into the list screen on the asset module. I found in LIBRARY.xml where there is another dialog called searchClassificationMultipleAssets. When I add this to the menu on the assetnum attribute in MENUS.xml, this appears to be exactly what I am looking for. It provides check boxes on the list in the dialog so you can select multiple assets from the result set. However, after I have selected anything and click OK in the dialog, nothing is returned to the list tab.
I'm hoping this is something small that I am missing cause this looks to be exactly what I want if I can get it working properly. Anybody ever implemented search with this dialog?

Maximo 7.5 Has out of box Attribute Search that will find all rows ("multiple") that meet the criteria you are searching for.
Under Advanced Search is an option Attribute Search which searches through attribute data to get you all results that have what you are looking for. Just like all other search functionality.
If you do not see this option then maybe you do not have proper security rights.
