I'm experimenting with issuing a rotating asset at asset cost vs average cost.
The issue transaction seems to work okay. When I return the rotating item to the warehouse the issue transaction is reversed correctly so that the location gets a negative debit and stores gets a positive credit.
What I am finding, though, is that after I return the item, the inventory costs for the asset does not get restored. It goes to zero.
Could anyone please explain why this occurs or is this a glitch?
