I have a question for the group. What scheduler software packages are you using? I know Maximo has its own scheduler. I've also heard of Akwire. What else is out there?

Akwire always seems to be ahead of the game when it comes to scheduling. I would suggest getting some demo’s from them. I have worked with them in the past on a few projects and they always deliver.

At my last location we began using the Maximo scheduler and while the initial startup had some hiccups it is working quite well now. All of our planning an scheduling metrics have improved and the supervisors and schedulers that had the most issues with it early on are now using it with ease.
