Hi Everybody,
We are planning to move from a Maximo-Sun interface to a Maximo-SAP interface. But first we need set up the new SAP chart of account coding structure in Maximo.
My question is can we configure the new SAP coding structure on the existing instance of Maximo or do we have to configure the SAP coding structure on a new instance of Maximo?
Can two different chart of account coding structures exist in one instance of maximo? If we do decide to configure the SAP CoA code onto a new instance of Maximo can we migrate all the open POs to the new instance? Please advise what is the best approach for changing from Maximo-Sun to Maximo-SAP CoA coding structure while still retaining open POs with Maximo-Sun CoA codes?
