http://www-03.ibm.com/support/techdocs/atsmastr.nsf/WebIndex/WP101065
and it is not working , it keeps pop up the login screen , so if some one accomplish this successfully , please help..
I'm using Maximo 7.1 ,WAS 6.1 and Windows 2003 server active directory

I've just recently gone through that exercise and that white paper is mostly what I used. However there are other steps that are not covered in that white paper.
When you say the login screen, I assume you mean the Maximo login screen and not an IE login Window. My guess is that you need to look at the steps in the Maximo 7 System Administration Guide starting on page 39, setting up authentication starting on page 48, configuring the system. Sorry I don't have the URL handy right now. Be careful of step 3 on page 49, it calls out for a value of 1 but actually requires the setting "true".

Dear Chris
thanks alot for your concern and sorry for misleading , by login screen i mean IE login window that will authenticate against the active directory .I check the system admin guid and found every thing is good as it tells in the guide as i configured the secuirty in the installation process except one thing i have changed my self that:
from "<auth-method>BASIC</auth-method>" To "<auth-method>CLIENT-CERT</auth-method>"
that i have read in IBM forum.so how is that look like to you
thanks alot
Amir Samir
