WONUM autonumber fuctionality is not working through MEA

HI All
I am doing integration throgh webservice for incident application.When i posted the XML ,ticketid autonumber is generated automatically and it is updating fine.but for activity in the incident application autonumber is not updating and it is throwing error like
BMXAA4195E - Required field work order is blank...
Please help me to solve this issue.

I think you have to go into Object Structures and exclude WONUM (via Inbound
Setting restrictions). Check out this article. It's not quite for your
situation, but it gives you the idea.
