RE: [MAXIMO List] Maximo 7.1 - KPI for PMs

From: Anthony Gil (2012-07-01 21:32)

All...
Thanks for the
advise on the KPI - PMs/CMs issue... this is a touchy situation on what is planned and unplanned. I just want to collect
some real data and start moving forward with some improvements.
Thanks again.

Hi,
Understand the politics but follow up work is CM since it was not planned in the PM. This drives the maintenance staff to improve the PMs.
The maintenance planner should have available an easy query or report to find follow up work. The report should list the PM and all follow up work orders.

Thanks for your input... I totally agree with the politics,
the new work type was a suggestion of a director who would sell his first born
to be green on his KPIs. I'll stick to my guns and fight for non-bias data. That's
really the only way for us to track our true performance and become more
efficient.
