Dear All,
Environment: Maximo 7.1, DB2 v9.5.1, Web Sphere 6.1, MS Windows 2003 sp 2
Note: Maximo system is 24/7 a week is live.
I want to apply DB2 recent patch in existing database(db2), I have following questions;
>> I do not know how to apply db2 recent patch, steps how to do it ?
>> What preventive steps/precautions should I take before applying db2 recent patch for existing database(db2) and Maximo application?
>> How to verify about recent db2 patch whether has it been deployed successfully on existing database(db2)?
>> Will there be any side affect on Maximo application Running, or will there be any problems between Maximo & DB2 Running together after applying recent db2 patch ?
>> What steps should I take after applying recent db2 patch?
>> How to take Maximo application backup?
>> From where (website), I should down load it?
>> What could be the name of recent db2 patch for Windows 2003?
>> Should I shutdown DB2, Websphere and Maximo application before applying db2 recent patch ?
>> Is there any visual document help for applying db2 recent patch?
