Environment: Maximo v7.1, WebSphere v6.1, DB2 v9.5 , MS Windows 2003 sp2
I want to setup Calender in our Maximo system, How to do it?
Shifts: 07:00 AM - 15:00 PM
15:00 PM - 23:00 PM
23:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Moreover, kindly answer to my following questions;
* What is the benefit of using both company and person calender in Maximo?
* What is the difference between company calender and person calender in Maximo ?
* On which Maximo Application(?) I can add what calender (company, person) ?
* What steps should I follow in order to create calender?
Kindly help me to understand by example. I will be thankful for kind response.

Company calendar - generic
Define shift(s).
Create a calendar. Apply shift(s) to calendar.
I.E. - set up a calendar for all working days in the year from the Calendar module. Shift would be eight hours per day, 5 days per week. Put 0 or no hours on stat holidays (whatever holidays your country declares).
Attach the calendar to the person records.
Modify the calendar. Set training days and scheduled vacation at 0 hours. This is now a personal calendar for the person.
Company calendars - generic. Allow you to define regular working hours. Set up one and apply to many people.
Personal calendar - modified company calendar for the individual.
