This is regarding Maximo- Peoplesoft intergration related to inventory management.
The items are defined and managed in Peoplesoft and brought to Maximo.
It seems like Peoplesoft has a way to deactivate items which seems simillar to Obsolete status of Maximo.
But the problem is that peplesoft can activate the items which were deactivated earlier.. But Maximo will not allow to reactivate obsolate items ...
how to handle this ?
Anybody has idea on how peoplesoft item statuses are mapped to Maximo ?
Thanks..
Any comments on this.?
Would appreciate comments from anybody who has worked on Maximo - People soft integration for Inventory management..
Thanks ...
Denver International Airport has an integration with PeopleSoft, but they
are currently in the process of moving off of PS and going to Workday.

If PS can activate-deactivate (they do this to vendors all the time with our integration) then you need to unlink the status change as you disqualifier.
I can stop an item from being reordered by controlling the reorder flag, and I can keep it off cycle counts by ditching its ABC type. That might be sufficient; you may want to carry the PS flag over to Maximo to indicate your integration status.
