Incident CHANGE STATUS

Hi All,
Maximo 7.1, db2, web sphere 6.1, MS Windows 2003 server
There are 2 incidents created by help desk one incident(29132) is originator(relationtype) whereas another incident(29223) isfollowup(relationtype)
Case 1:
Is it possible if one incident(29132) as originator(relationtype) status changes to 'Resolved' automatically second related incident(29223)/all related incidents should 
also be changed to 'Resolved' , How ?
Case 2:
Is it possible if second incident(29223) as followup (relationtype) status changes to 'Resolved' automatically first related incident(29132)  should 
also be changed to 'Resolved' , How ?
We do not want help desk go in every incident to change status, it is better approach change 'Oraginator' incident automatically all related incidents(followup) should be changed.
Need your help.
I'll appreciate prompt reply.
