Fw: [MAXIMO List] Re: Multiple meter updates?

From: Incomm Solutions (2016-12-12 10:06)

There are a couple of flags on the asset record that control this. You can tell Maximo to apply the meter reading from the location to the asset, or alternatively, you can tell Maximo to apply the reading from the parent asset to the child asset instead. If I recall correctly, the two options are mutually exclusive.

Tell me more about this if you could. If I create a location hierarchy, and enter a reading for the parent location, would the child locations get the reading? What about the assets?

That's my problem, I'm not seeing the flags. Maybe my eyes are bonkers.
I'm on 7.6.0.3, Oracle 12c, Windows 2012
