I got this from my Actuate rep.
Our inside sales team is running a telesales campaign to Maximo prospects and as part of their pitch, they're telling them that IBM will no longer be supporting later versions of Maximo 6 by end September (and hence their embedded eReports). IBM will be supporting BIRT reports and not supporting Maximo 6. They must have shorten up the pitch to a 30-second one if they must leave a VM & this came about as a misunderstanding…

Not true. They have a roadmap for BIRT for both Maximo and TRIRIGA.

Hey Gang,
When of our customers got a cold call from Actuate, they mentioned that at some point this year IBM is no longer going to be supporting the BIRT reports? Does anyone know if this is true??
thanks,
John
