Re: Weird 6.2 thing.

From: David Teece (2015-10-20 12:14)

We are on 6.2 as well and have not seen the issue you are describing but wonder if it is caused by a similar issue we are seeing. Recently our IT department has been upgrading everyone to Internet Explorer 11 and users were having issues with Maximo. First users had to set Maximo to run in Enterprise Mode for the menus to function and then they had to be sure that their zoom was set at 100% or the icons on the Maximo toolbar did not line up with their hotspot and they had to move their mouse around until the help balloon for the function they wanted popped up to find the hot spot.
You may want to look at those settings if you are using IE 11.

Actually, that's a nice fix for an IE11 issue I saw recently. Someone called in a ticket and I saw that the browser was bumped to IE11 from the corporate standard IE10. I had them roll it back, but it seems like your method may allow us to keep IE11 installations. I'm not a fan of multiple browsers but I can make that the service desk's problem.

It looks like I'm going to have to stay in developer mode and watch that element.

Might want to take a look at forcing a specific browser mode by changing the HTML being served.
Doc is for Maximo 7, but should work for Maximo 6.

Hey, thanks for this. Only problem: Maximo 6 doesn't have a page.jsp. I think this is littered through login.jsp and others. Anyone confirm?
