hi guys:
i edited the woprint.rptdesing to portrait and i added a new data set to
print workorders related to the asset
all works fine but when i print the report from direct print on the tool
bar of wotrack app, the report has the orientation of portrait but some
fields appears cut off, and if i see the report from web view and i see
it normal,
anyone of you know where i wrong?
if somebody can guide i appreciate
thanks
RM
How much clipping do you have? If it's just the edges of the right most fields, double check the width of you fields in BIRT. What looks OK in BIRT can be clipped on the hard copy print because HTML version doesn't have the same page/margin restrictions. Best thing is to make sure all field width sum to a value less than 7.5" (0.5" margin on left and 0.5" margin on right side of page).
If it's severe clipping, like whole fields are missing, then BIRT/Maximo is confused on the page setup. The page orientation is coming out portrait, but it's generating as if it's still the original landscape.
I had the same problem and gave up. I just went ahead and re-wrote the report from scratch.
