Nested Job plans -anybody got any actual exaples of its use

From: Ian Wright (2013-05-30 12:02)

Nested Job plans from a few examples it appears :-
If you nest a job plan within a job plan then the initial job plan will become a child work order with the tasks of the nested job plan being applied to the child work order
If you then nest a job plan in a nested job plan you get a child work order for the initial job plan followed by a further child work order for the nested nested job plan - and so on for the nested, nested, nested job plan..........................
Note any none nested tasks in a job plan are inherited by the parent work order.
So in essence it gives you the ability to create a hierarchical work order structure. For example job plans by discipline creating a hierarchy of wo for each discipline Its something like a PM Hierarchy but it only applies to one location
Anyone using this in anger and if so any real life examples would be good
