I voted for your RFE. Just curious though, how did IBM justify this being an enhancement instead of a bug? Seems pretty straight forward to me, MIF shouldn't update a read only record. I only ask cause I fight this battle with them all the time now, it seems like it's a standard response to tell users it's an enhancement instead of a bug.

Yes I'm of the same opinion - it was my friend at BP that requested it so I don't know what they said, although I was at the same time trying to figure out why it just kept creating approved versions.
So at least I don't have to spend any more time on it
I'll ask him what they said

The behaviour through the MIF is not always the same as from front end....
for example, if you use SYNC, you can Updated an approved PO through the
MIF without creating a revision....(maximo75)
Is this behaviour OK?... I guess for some situatino yes, for others no....

IBM said that out of the box, they don't provide the JOBPLAN interface and hence it's not a bug, rather enhancement...
What else to say !!!!

However it doesn’t break the PO functionality. When MIF creates multiple versions of an approved JP then it does break Maixmo
It’s a little while ago that I did the SAP interface but I think on the PO there is also a way of making it create the revisions
