EZMaxMobile is leading the pack in my opinion. Now that might change in 12-18 months once Maximo Anywhere gets its footing. The Maximo Mobile Suite is good but it will have a limited life span once Anywhere gets somewhere.

Hi, Does any one have a more recent experience with IBM Maximo Mobile. The previous experiences are a bit dated and I was curious to know if the situation is better today. I like the idea of one-stop-shopping but not at any costs. We are considering Maximo Mobile, EZMaxMobile and Datasplice but I am required to make 4 recommendation so if you would like to share your experience from using the above products or some other it would be of tremendous help.
IBM Maximo Anywhere is built on the Worklight platform. I have been doing beta testing with it and it will be a major player in the next year.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I heard from IBM that Maximo Mobile is going to be phased out. Maximo Anywhere is IBM's new mobile offering. The Work Manager for Maximo Anywhere is available currently but Inventory Manager, Asset Manager, and the functionality to modify the Work Manager will be released at year-end. We are in the decide phase right now. Shall post the outcome later.
Lon, You experience with Maximo Mobile seem positive. Have you experienced Maximo Mobile with v7.5 ? It is know to be tardy and slow with previous versions of Maximo.
I have several clients on 7505 with the current Maximo Mobile. No major issues. Once you get all your queries and screens optimized for performance it typically works like a charm. For new implementations for work management only I would lean more towards the Maximo Anywhere as that is the future of the IBM product. If you have to start with Inventory or Asset Management then work out a deal with IBM to start with the Mobile Suite and have them help with costs and licensing deals to transfer to Anywhere at a later time.
As I stated before my #1 choice is still EZMaxMobile.

Thanks Lon. This does help and I will share this with our project team.
We use DataSplice for Work Orders and Inventory, we dont have any major issues for past 3 years. We used to have Maximo Mobile which was very slow and not stable. DataSplice is the way to go and use SOTI to manage the devices.
thanks
