Hi,
maximo uses a database trigger on all tables to update the column 'rowstamp' at
each insert or update. So it's not possible to detect, that someone wants to
modify a record, only if he has already witten to the database and committed,

Dear all,
Just sharing, Maximo uses optimistic locking to ensure that two users cannot
update the same record, but the trigger is when user updating the record. I just
curious, is it possible if Maximo tells record locking on method modify() ?
Let say, if another user modify same record in any fields (typing only) then
error message will populate. Actually this can reduce problem while another user
fails updating on many fields. This we can find mostly on chat app like bmm /
wa, if another user is typing then app will notify "typing ..."
