MiMUG has been established in an effort to provide local Maximo users with a venue to share their stories and experiences This meeting will offer an opportunity to network with peers, obtain important product & user group updates and share ideas, challenges, and questions.
In this MiMUG meeting attendees will be a part of several relevant and informative presentations that are not to be missed, among them:
IBM’s presentation Archive Maximo® data with Optim™ Data Growth Solution will shed new light on the proven enterprise-wide data strategy which allows end-users to take command of their mission-critical data (current or archived) throughout its entire lifecycle. This enables easier upgrades and the implementation cost-effective storage options.
General Motors’ Dave Reiber will present a GM / IBM Maximo Case Study where he’ll speak to GM’s use of IBM Maximo Asset Management to ensure the company's production processes are consistent throughout the world. Dave will also divulge reasons behind why IBM Maximo has provided GM a consistent global solution, fulfilling the need to improve responsiveness and providing a healthy return on investment since its enterprise-wide implementation.
Addressing the mobile piece, IBM will also present a Smarter Infrastructure Mobile Development Strategy. In this session attendees will gain new insights into leveraging IBM’s WorkLight® as a mobile platform. Use this single platform across your entire portfolio (Maximo, SCCD, TRIRIGA, Industry Solutions, etc.) on any modern o/s and “smart” device in both connected and disconnected scenarios.
