Subject: [MAXIMO List] Job Plan Sequence & Frequency - Weekly, Monthly, and Annual
Hi, I am wondering how you handle a situation where the PM has a different job plan for weekly, monthly, and annual. I tried to set up the job plan sequence as weeks. This works fine the weekly PM and annual PM (52 weeks), but I am not sure what value to use for monthly. 52 weeks divided by 12 months is 4.333... I think the number has to be an integer.
if you want to be real creative you could do days
7
30
365
there would be some creep but you could use the extended date field to correct it if it was off enough to annoy you

13 pins a year should okay if there is a weekly pm. I'm noticing the nested job plans create a separate child work order with tasks, so the pm wo generated look a little confusing. Sounds better to hard code the tasks into each job plan unfortunately. If I want to merge pms that are currently separate 1 weekly, 2 monthly, and 3 quarterly, should I just use the weekly pm name only going forward and merge the job plan sequences into that one? I'm concerned we might have some disconnect with historical pms, but I imagine the supervisors and technicians will appreciate generating the correct pm each time.
