Dear group,
I am looking for a solution of the use of the lead (delivery time) time
when reordering items by reservation on work orders.
When items are issued and the min level is reached, the item is
reordered and the lead time is used to calculate the required date.
So when lead time is 5 and I reorder today, the required date in the
requisition will be: today + 5 = 26-3-2012.
But when an item is reserved on a work order and the item is reordered,
the lead time is NOT used in the required date.
The required date is ALWAYS "today" (the day that the reordering is
done).
Is there anybody who knows if there's a setting that the leadtime is
also used in these cases?
Or another working method that the required date is NOT the date of
today?
Many thanks.

Have the users enter the 'Scheduled Start' date on the main page of the Workorder before they enter materials on the 'Plan tab'. It will them default to that date instead of current date.
