[MAXIMO List] No class def found error in maximo..

From: vijay kumar (2013-01-15 08:46)

Dear All,
We are facing one issue with our maximo 7.5. When we place a bean class in
a custom path we are getting the error *"No Class def found error."*
When we change the package and place this custom class in the same package
where the extended class is present, class file will work.
But the bean class does not work if we we place it in a custom path. The
error log shows No class def found error. And that lead to class not found
exception.
Any suggestion to resolve this issue will be appreciated...
Regards,
Vijay Kumar

Make sure your custom path is included in the build process of building the .ear file.. You can verify by opening the .ear in a program like WinRAR.

Have you cleared the WebSphere Cache for the Application Server and
deploying the application ear?

Hi,

Please try this option to remove that error :

1. Un-install the deployed maximo.ear or folder and save the changes in app server
2. build the fresh maximo.ear
3  redeploy the maximo.ear or folder.

start app server and test it. this time u won't face any problem.

Regards
Sriram
