Hi all,
There is one problem I found in the Inventory Usage application.
I worked with maximo ver 7.5.0.3 and I set maximo up to create
automatically inventory usage when workorder approved.
the problem is Inventory Usage not copy the asset data from Work Order.
I created a workorder for repairing an asset.
The Inventory Usage is only get Location data from the workorder.
because of this problem, the report standar Asset Cost Rollup not working
properly.
Is any body know this issue and has a solution or work arround?
note: this problem does not happen if we create inventory usage manually.

Hi all
I might as well chip in my problem with Inventory Usage in 7.5.
When I reserve parts on work orders with automatic,hard or soft reservation types. The reservations to do not appear when You create a new record and use the 'Select Reserved Items' button. Just an empty winow pops up and the show all reservations check box is greyed out.
All of the reservations correctly display in the the inventory record and the View Item Availabilty pick off the item in the Plans Tab.
If I put the work order number in the description field of the list view in Inventory Usage the list shows the system has created records for those items.
Why isn't it showing when you use Select Reserve Items?

Hi Ray: We're not having a problem with Select Reserved Items in Inventory
usage - I was just looking at it today, and it's fine. It's got to be
something going on with your installation. Are you seeing any errors in the
logs?
