Hi Groups,
If we are using Maximo 7.5.
I did configuration many security groups to a user, let say 'Spv-Maint'.
I log-in as the Spv-Maint and I realize that I could access the Actions
application.
The Spv-Maint doesn't need this actions application.
So how do we find quickly the group via a sql-query result? (without check
the group one by one).

Well, I usually start with something like this:
SELECT groupname, app, optionname
FROM applicationauth
WHERE APP IN ('PR','PO') AND optionname IN ('APPROVE','CANCEL','CLOSE','COMPLETE','UNAPPROVE','SAVE')
AND groupname NOT IN ('MAXADMIN','OCSADMIN','QC')
AND optionname != 'SAVE'
ORDER BY groupname, app, optionname
;
And now I know which groups have access to change statuses in PRs and POs.
Sometimes I forget the options, so I find them:
SELECT DISTINCT optionname, app FROM applicationauth WHERE app LIKE 'REC%'

The I go find the specifics for an application:
SELECT DISTINCT groupname FROM applicationauth WHERE app = 'RECEIPTS' AND optionname IN ('SAVE','APPRRCPTS','SELORDITEM','SELORDSERV')

And if I need the people:

If you're handy with Excel, this pivots nicely to provide answers to questions like "What do I need to grant for this application?"
