we are going to Integrate Maximo with oracle in our environment and one of
the suggested methods is Use IBM Maximo Adapter for Oracle , Maximo will be
used for maintenance management and Oracle for Purchasing and Inventory
Management , but we need to send the PO and Inventory data back
to Maximo through the adapter , I would like to know if any of the members
have experience with that adapter
is it reliable for seamless integration ?
is it easy to configure ?
is the adapter administration can be done by end users or need certain
skills ?
generally if you recommend it or to build the integration ourselves
thanks in advance

The Adaptor uses Maximo MIF in the backend, and its configurable and easy
to use. But you can also write your own MIF up to your requirements and its
not very tough!
