Required field Predecessors is blank error

From: Hanna, Christopher CTR (2011-10-19 11:21)

Maximo 7118
WebSphere 6.1
Oracle 11g
After upgrading from 622 to 7118, when trying to add a task to a workorder, we are getting an error ' BMXAA4195E - Required field Predecessors is blank'. This occurs even when adding the first task which can have no predecessor. I imported the plain vanilla version of WOTRACK into our development environment from my out of the box demo environment and then it worked fine. So this appears to be something messed up in the WOTRACK XML after the upgrade. If anyone has ever seen this before or has any ideas as to what to look for it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Have you compared your screen to the out of the box 7.1.1.8 Wotrack screen using something like Beyond compare? I know there will be differences (perhaps many). Could be a "Default Value" control on the Tasks table, or perhaps the bean class?
