I have an object structure based on the LOCATIONS object set up with four child objects (all custom) defined. I have an event listener enabled on the publish channel for this object structure so that updates to the LOCATIONS object will get pushed out to an external system. This works fine for updates to the LOCATIONS object. In the advanced configuration for the object structure, the option to propagate event is checked for all the child objects. My problem is that event propagation is only working for one of the child objects. The one that is working is one where the update can be made through the LOCATIONS (clone) application. The ones that are not working are essentially custom reference tables that have their own apps and when making changes through these apps, the event does not propagate to the parent and the change does not get pushed out.
Anybody ever experience anything similar and/or have any advice?
