Good Afternoon,
We are currently using Maximo 7.1.1.8 build. We have staff members that would like to see the job plan field on a work order be editable after approval. Often times the work is scheduled father out and as it gets closer to time to complete the job needs have changed. Is there any way to change the functionality so that the Job Plan field is editable in all status options except COMP and CLOSE?

Yes. We have it set so that everything other than the safety plans are editable on the status of APPR.

While it isn’t editable, you can use the “Clear Work Plan” option in the Select Action. That will remove the tasks and job plan and let you attach a new one.
