We are currently on version 4.1.1 looking to upgrade to 7.x. We have a number of interfaces including interfaces to our custom financial system and a billing system (both are currently being rewritten). We bill other departments for some types of work done on workorders.
We are interested in talking to organizations that are performing similar billing to other internal departments for work they do. Especially other higher education institutions. We would like to know how the billing is performed, how frequently, if transfer accounts are used and any other information you are willing to share. We are also interested in feedback from anyone that is using the Maximo Service Provider bolt on for this purpose. We currently run our billing software quarterly but only bill for completed work. We also do partial billing at the end of the fiscal year for work not complete at the fiscal year end.
We would like to reduce the amount of work in our re-write of the above mentioned modules so if there is any OTS software available we would be interested in hearing about it.
