The most up to date information I see from IBM on what version of Adobe Reader will be supported is related to MAXIMO version 7.1.1 and it is Adobe Reader version 6.0 or 7.0. Our IT Support Group has concerns about the security of using Adobe Reader version older than late releases of 8 or better 9.
We are in the process of upgrading from MAXIMO 6.2.3 to 7.5 and I wanted to ask the group thtee questions:
1) Has anyone seen an update with a later supported Reader version with MAXIMO 7.5?
2) Do other groups out there have similar security concerns with the older versions of Adobe Reader?
3) Has anyone found a way around this issue?

Hi,
I've had no problems running later versions of Adobe Reader with Maximo 5.2, 6.2 & 7.1.1.5 - I'm currently running Adobe Reader 9.4.5.
Best thing is to try it - If you have problems you can always revert to the earlier versions of Adobe Reader.
