[MAXIMO List] Re: Repeating Escalation or Workflow?

From: Mary (2011-07-15 19:06)

For this escalation, I have a communication template setup on object woownerhistory. For a role, do I have to make woownerhistory a primary object, or can I somehow create the role based on workorder owner and use this?
Thank you, Mary

From: Shannon Rotz (2011-07-15 18:47)

I don't think you'll be able to create the role based on the work order
table - the escalation won't see it, since the escalation's object is
defined as WOOWNERHISTORY.

But I'm not sure what you mean by making woownerhistory a primary object -
?? You've already made it a main object in DBConfig, or you wouldn't be
able to use it on an escalation.

No, apparently it's just for that purpose . I've never seen it used anywhere
else.
