Dear All,
I have developed a new application in maximo using more than 5 objects
and relationship between them , the application contain five tabs
all i need to hide some tabs from some groups and show them to other groups
Any help please?
Do you have TRM Rules Manager?

Hi Chris
I use maximo 7.2 ,to be honest i do not know TRM is it an application in Maximo 7.2? or later , cuz i did not use it before

TRM Rules Manager is a third-party application (TRM is the company) that
makes things like this very easy. It's how we hide fields from one group
while enabling others to see them.
Prior to purchasing Rules Manager, we created cloned applications to present
different security groups with different visions of the same application.

I see thats a pretty cool , but customer will not be able to buy it
i tried to use Security group , i edit group1 to see first tab , and under restriction tab , i restrict an object and made it hide , then i assigned a user to this group , yes once i accessed my application i COULD NOT SEE the data in the tab , but i still see the tab
and it affects all users even if the user is not member in this group!

Well Rules Manager will pay for itself in development time.
