Maximo 7.1.15 Printing multiple work Oders from Change Status dialog box

From: morgan (2011-08-08 16:44)

Hi All
In Maximo 7.1.1.5 if you select multiple workorders from the list and change the status you also have the option to print those workorders.
It works fine but calls the 'out of the box' workorder detail print.
We use a custom made work order here. How to I get it call my custom
work order print.
Thank you

Not near a 7 install at the moment..
You can rename your custom report to woprint.rptdesign or try modifing your request page to match (except tool bar sequence)

work order report is in 6 different locations. You have to upload the custom report all these places in you case it is Application Change.

Taken from the IBM website: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/wikis/display/maximo/Administering+Reports+-+Configuring#AdministeringReports-Configuring-WorkOrderStatusChangereport
Using the Database Configuration application to change the Work Order Change Status report:
1. Open the Database Configuration application.
2. Search for the Wochangestatus object.
3. Navigate to the Reportname attribute.
4. Update Reportname to your custom report design file name. The default file name is woprint.rptdesign.
5. Restart the application server.
I know this works while viewing a single work order but I would assume it works for multiple also.

Hi
Thank you. It worked! You have to apply the changes to the db after you make that change. I forgot to do that at first.
Thanks again
