From: columbiagastransmission (2011-09-02 17:10)

I realize that is a very old post but I would be curious for more information about how you extended the base java classes. which ones did you extend? Any information would be a big help.
Thanks

Basically you are asking for a hyperlink which dynamically refers to current location selected and use it's code as a parameter in URL.Below is one option, you might be interested to check;
- Create a custom hyperlink control, you can copy jsp of current hyperlink control - Modify your custom control jsp to read current Mbo, say LOCATIONS in this case using DataBean.- Modify URL property of custom control jsp, by appending value of LOCATIONS.LOCATION field- Use your custom hyperlink control instead of original, in application xml.

Hi,

EAM Software has a solution for dynamic hyperlinks in Maximo 6.
The Tool is called Call External from MAXIMO
http://www.eam-software.de/tools.htm

EAM has also a google maps integration (not populated on their web site).

Regards

Reiner
