The basic plot is that our team needs someone with a great deal of Maximo implementation knowledge from the front-end, the ability to gather requirements from the field users, and the technical writing skills to make it a coherent specification for our technical team. Since this spot directly support high voltage work, you'd probably want that experience in your background. If you don't have it, you need to be a superlative PM with Maximo experience. If you can't quickly come up to speed, this is not for you.

Responsibility Description
Reporting to the Amtrak Enterprise Asset Management team, act as Project Lead and Subject Matter Expert for Amtrak Engineering's Electric Traction (ET) discipline, concentrating on implementing a custom Maximo-based Inspection and Test application (Core and Mobile) which generates, collects and reports on inspections for high voltage distribution components which power Amtrak trains along the North East Corridor.
Will also be responsible for sustaining current ET implemented projects, identification and resolution of issues, training field users, documenting all project aspects and assistance in testing of system modifications as well as maintaining an open line of communication between field forces and Maximo development team.
Experience / Skill Set - Required
At a minimum, candidates must posses:
· Two (2) plus years current experience implementing/operating Maximo or other Enterprise Asset Management software (Maximo preferred)
· EAM application experience concentrating in Work Management, Preventive Maintenance, Job/Work Plans, Assets, Locations and Classifications
· Practical experience with high voltage power distribution systems
· Field experience with Preventive Maintenance protocols
· Strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to work well in a project team environment interacting effectively with all levels of staff from line workers to upper management
· Proven documentation skills with the ability to create high-quality and complete project documents and communications (MS Office experience a must)
· Experience training large and small groups who possess little computer skills
· Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization with minimal daily oversight and direction
Experience / Skill Set - Preferred
Preference will be given to candidates who posses:
· Electrified Rail Systems experience
· BSEE or equivalent work experience
· Direct operating Railroad field experience
Base Location / Travel / Term
· Based in Philadelphia, PA with frequent assignments in Wilmington DE
· Travel across the North East Corridor (Boston to Washington, DC) up to 90%
· After successful completion of a six (6) week evaluation period, term of assignment expected to be at least one (1) year with (high) probability of extension if successful
