Subject: should not assume users (especially maintenance staff) understand how fields are best filled-in on the Work Order main screen
Is it work description or problem description?
Who makes sure the asset number/location is correct?
What if a location/asset/failure record is missing from registry?
Who enters work priority? Are these providing real value?
When job is completed, does staff enter "actions performed"?
Who enters problem codes?
What if the trades have a recommendation/suggestion to make. Does it get blended with actions performed?
What field says a work order is fully planned?
Does every job get planned, or are there exceptions?
Bad data (incomplete, inconsistent) makes it difficult to perform measurements.
