Can Maximo 7.5 use Internet Explorer 9

From: gilesalanbell (2011-09-27 13:55)

I was convinced I had seen postings where people said this was compatible, but cannot find them now. Is anyone able to confirm please that Latest versions of Maximo can use IE9.

Yes, that's true. Maximo latest versions are compatible with IE9 with minor issues related to application designer I guess.

We are currently running Maximo 7.5. I have not seen the issue with
application designer present itself yet. We actually saw a significant
speed boost when running in IE 9 as opposed to IE8. I would actually
suggest to run IE9 for the speed reasons.

Hi,
My IE9 seemed to ramdomly crash (not specifically within Maximo) so started using Google chrome which seems to work fine within Maximo (7.2.1) and also has some advantages as in being able to drag and stretch multi-line text boxes such as the the description box within incident, which makes it good for seeing the the whole text,
Thanks,

Using 7.1.1.8 and 7.5 with both IE 8 and 9 no problems.
