MXES 622 Table Domain Lookup

From: Ethan (2011-10-07 18:46)

I create a table domain to lookup values from the measureunit table on a custom field on the work order screen an can't get it operable. I'm getting an invalid binding so I know I'm missing something.
1) I have created the COJ_Taskassump referencing he measureunit object. 2) Added COJ_Taskassump domain to my custom field Taskaccumplsunit on the workorder object.
3)Added the COJ_Taskassump as a lookup on the Taskaccumplsunit attribute on the screen.
So what am I missing any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Ethan,
Have you created this new lookup "COJ_Taskassump" in the lookups.xml?
Also, you will have to insert the maxlookup entry into the maxlookupmap table from the back end, as in Maximo 6 you don't have the option to create that entry from front end.
Thanks,
Victor.

You may also need to create a relationship using the DBConfig app. I have
had to do this on several occasions to resolve Invalid Binding errors.. I
would start by creating a relationship in the workorder table..
