I have received some great feedback here regarding the definition of locations and assets and how they are segmented in a good hierarchy. I'm curious if anyone can share a printout of their asset hierarchies. I'm currently developing one and although I can see the benefit of functional locations for major assets, I want to avoid making a hierarchy that is too detailed. I've listed to examples. The first is legitimate but the second is more streamlined. I'd love to hear what others have found to be most efficient when creating an asset hierarchy.
