Anybody has experience printing Barcode in Maximo 7.1 for Item / Asset Number using
"ZEBRA S4M Printer".
My company is about to purchase this printer.
Any drawback with this printer or any other Barcode Printer
better than this in market available, we would like to see all this before purchasing.
Our Maximo environment is Multi Language with English & Arabic.
Your Suggestions are highly valuable to us.

Also in Maximo 6.2.1 we were using "ARGOX PRINTER" the printer print one label & skip many.This behaviour you observe in "Zebra S4M " printer or not.
How long you have been using this printer.

We are using the Zebra 430t in Maximo 7118 for inventory labels. We are currently using actuate 9 reporting but I am in the process of converting them to BIRT. Intial tests have gone well.
Consider the number of labels that you are going to use, my users hate changing the paper size and/or color. Also with birt you will need a master page for each label size.
Overall printing the labels from maximo rather than building/finding them individually saves the users several hours aday.

We are on Maximo 7.1, were also using the printer in 6.2. We have been using the printer for 2 years. Not familiar with the ARGOX printer behavior. This printer will do one at a time or many, your option.
