Direct print not working after applying Patch 6.2.5

MAXIMO Application Server 6.2.5 Build 20090908-1129 DB Build V600-724

Server OS Windows 2003 5.2
DB Platform Oracle

After applying the patch, now when trying to use the direct print (i.e. workorder details report). After clicking on the workorder details print icon a window is displayed :-
'Do not close the window, printing is in progress'
It dissappears after about 10 seconds and no report is displayed on screen or sent to the printer.
Can anyone help please ?

UPDATE - the report is now being sent directly to the printer but not previewed on screen before.
