Maximo 6.2.5 Actuate Issue After Upgrade - Error Retrieving Job List

From: craig_behan (2011-11-04 11:35)

Dear All,
Can anyone help with this:-
We have just upgraded our test system and Actuate is not functioning:-
When trying to select reports in a module no reports are dislayed and the error "Error Retrieving Job List is shown"
When trying to directly print a report we are presented with the Actuate Encylopedia login screen with the maxadmin username & password (with the password being a very long string of characters)
I have seen this before after version 6 upgrades and have tried all the checks and fixes I can remember
i.e. - all the .properties files are in synch on both the Actuate and Maximo servers.
- the Java businessobjects (actuatebo.jar) for the Actuate 8
server and the Maximo business objects (businessobjects.jar) for the
Maximo 6 application are in synch.
In Maximo.properties we have the multi server set to NO - would changing this to YES make any difference ?
Any help with this most appreciated.
Thanks,
Craig

I typically see this error when the Actuate service isn't running.  Can you log into the Actuate Management console?

Hi Ron,
Thanks for your response.
I can confirm I can log into the console and thankfully the issue is resolved now.
Kind regards,
Craig
