Maximo 6.2, Websphere, Oracle
We have a workflow for the approval process of Data sheets, and that works fine, but once approved, Assets can be added to data sheets outside of workflow, which may cause some headaches.
Is there a way to notify asset owners if their assets are added or removed from an already approved data sheet?

Would an escalation handle this if properly queried?

Yes, you can utilize escalations for this notification based upon the asset owner being added to the record, and the status of record being changed, or some other means to reflect this as a new record. This is a simple process to set up.
